It made me feel sorry for his clueless parents. From that perspective such a sad story. Thank you for your work Ellie. You can be proud.

Thank you for doing the dirty work so I wouldn’t have to!

That was an interesting read...thank you for the hard work.

I shared this with myself for reading tomorrow. Now, are you some kind of super mom. A family, a full time job and a book that when I read it the first time I couldn’t read some of the scribbling. WOW is all I can say. Thank you for your persistence!

Me too Dennis! I just finished part one. Sept 23, 2025

Happy reading!

Thank you for subjecting yourself to it.

Yes Ellie, icky, as a survivor of rape and sexual assault I have had to live with the revelations of the survivors which reminds me that one never gets over the trAuma no matter how much time has passed. So I thought about the food .

I’m so sorry Laurie. I hope we live in a world someday where there are consequences ❤️

Nice work, Ellie. You should get to the truth, behind, those redacted documents 📃. Goodnight.

An afterthought: where did all Jeff’s money (massive wealth) come from? Blackmail perhaps?

Ellie Leonard's avatar

That’s the million dollar question and likely why they haven’t released the files.

Thank you Ellie! What I related to was the food from Nathan’s , the cherry cheese knishes , et al. I was born in 1952 and grew up in Queens and Long Island and spent my summers in Atlantic Beach where my sister has a house now. Some revelation! And the Jewishness of it all.

If it weren't so icky it would be quite nostalgic for a lot of people, I think

@the unpaid writer Ellie

I just finished book one. I told you I would!

I found mom and dad were notable mom for weirdness and probably child abuse in 2025 terms!

I had to note: mom from Poland and Dad from Russia. In 1900s. I have roots in Poland my maternal grandmother and a grandfather who was an American and from all reports was abusive to my grandmother and that’s been confirmed by too many reports. Interesting to me on several levels. My grandfather had a “Tool and Dye” business around that time aka a Welding business.

This has sparked my curiosity and will help me in my new 🆕 job is to research him! Lo and behold I am an unintended resident in the same city where he would have started out and my mom was born and buried next to her parents here.

Isn’t that weird that I’m here taking an interest in details of these people and it’s leading me on a different direction than I could have imagined.

Than you.

The Sea Gate Gazette has some pretty funny satire.

What is this thing about forcing Jeffrey to eat lobster salad for 5 years or something? 😝 that guy isn’t the only one to mention stuff like that so on all accounts he was abused and it is not funny if that’s the case. The forced accordion lessons and practice til you fall out of the chair. The forced piano playing til his fingers burned! A performance at Carnegie Hall?! Mommy had money and I’m sure there is truth to her obsession with her son’s achievements.

Whew! On to part II.

Really , nice work, Ellie.

Welcome, Ellie. You take care okay ✅.

Ellie, please be aware of the risk of secondary trauma from reviewing and transcribing all this Epstein material — it’s an understandable reaction to exposure to so much horror. This stuff can get into your head and have an effect on you, so please take care. Thank you for all you are doing to combat the damage done to so many by Maxwell and Epstein.

Penny what a great comment. Ellie is quite something. She does have her 4 kids to help normalize her life right now as well as a great and supportive husband it seems. But still...Ellie seems to have the heart of a lioness when it comes to protecting the Epstein survivors and the future of US democracy.

Also, going through that foul stuff with your four babies around(!) - I’d either be traumatized or incandescent with rage! (Pretty sure Ellie is the latter)

I’ve been doing this kind of work for other cases for over a decade, and learned to let things go when I walk away. Not sure what that means.

It means that you have a very healthy mind Ellie. I'm only just letting go of toxic elements in my past with the help of hypnosis in EMDR treatment, which frankly I think everyone on the planet would benefit from. Might be the solution to the eternal quest for world peace :). Anyway, Ellie, am forever a fan. You go girl!

Ellie is one tough cookie!

She’s awesome.

You make a good point. I’m reading it as a historical context and I’m not feeling any emotionally negative effects so far. If I do I can and will quit reading. I don’t see anything here so far that would get to that level. Great warning, tho in these times of hyper media obsession like me on Substack!
