In the upper left-hand reaches of the United States is a small logging town that's not known for much, unless you include sparkly vampires or a long waterfront trail contracted by one of America's most notorious serial killers, Israel Keyes.
We had 7 sons. The oldest has been a transgender woman for the past ten years. Every one of her brothers are her biggest supporters ~ besides her Mother & Father.💜
So, so lovely! :D This is what happens when you just dare to MEET! :D And invite! Thats so crucial.
The really good summer festivals in Sweden make a point of inviting the local inhabitants, the elderly even for free, to keep good relations. And seeing the joy and love of it all never fails to win people over. <3
I am so happy to hear about a place like this. As someone who has spent most of my life being an alien at heart, a place that knows what connects us all is much deeper than what divides us just amazing! I would be proud of your hometown, too!
I am just north of PA, in Canada 🇨🇦 I would holiday for that week in that town! Not sure I will cross the border for any reason, right now, but I have hope that this disaster will right itself by next spring🥹
Thanks for sharing! I never knew this and I have a transgender son!
As you said, cross-dressers, transvestites, I remember those terms too. I was pretty young at the time, maybe all of 12. But I thought to myself, if some guy wants to wear a dress, I figure he must have thought it was fun. We dress up for Halloween, or put on a Santa Suit. How is some rando putting on a dress going to screw up the World? Its not, some people just hate those, who are “being different”
As the mother of a transgender woman, this story made my day!
I’m so glad you liked it! It’s such a special place and they’re holding their gala tonight!
I am too, a mother of a transgender woman. Really needed to hear the above.
I am thankful.
It’s pretty special. I am the sibling of a transgender person as well, so this means a lot!

That is lovely🥰
I am so happy to hear that. I have two older daughters. One is supportive, one is not.

Yes, i caught that including vibe. :D Dancing together is what REALLY brings us together. Its an ancient way to heal trauma. <3
What a wonderful little town. I’m sending this article to my grandson.
Thank you
What a wonderful example of how humans can be. Thank you for sharing.

Never new this about PA. Just curious, how did your mom react?
That remains to be seen. There’s a doc in the works…
